Jiří and I improvised a lot of music on this trip, but this is the song I like best. I had a grandmother who had grown up in Italy before immigrating to the US. On this Europe trip, I had just been to Naples to see her village, and I had fallen in love there. So this song is about yearning both for love and sense of place.
